Molecular Sieve 13X
13X Molecular Sieve is a sodium form of Type X zeolite with a larger pore opening than 4A molecular sieve. It selectively adsorbs molecules with a kinetic diameter below approximately 9 Å (0.9 nm), making it highly effective for removing moisture, carbon dioxide, and other impurities from gases.
It is widely used in compressed air drying, gas purification, oxygen generation, and industrial drying systems. 13X Molecular Sieve can be regenerated using heated purge air, with regeneration temperatures typically around 250–300°C, and can help achieve very low dew points in properly designed air-drying systems.
